Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Menta app and website (referred to as "the platform"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Menta platform.
By accessing or using the Menta platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Menta platform. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
To access certain features of the Menta platform, you may need to create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Menta reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is found to be false, misleading, or violates these Terms and Conditions.
Menta facilitates connections between mentors and mentees. Mentees have the opportunity to engage in mentoring sessions with mentors who possess expertise in their respective fields. However, Menta does not guarantee the availability, suitability, or effectiveness of any mentor or the outcome of any mentoring relationship. Mentees are responsible for assessing and selecting mentors based on their own judgment and needs.
Menta provides a platform for mentors to list their available time slots for mentoring sessions. Mentees can select a suitable time slot based on the mentor's availability. However, the availability of time slots is subject to change, and Menta does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any specific time slot.
The Menta platform and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Menta or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content from the platform without prior written permission from Menta.
Menta respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used or copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify Menta in accordance with our Copyright Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Menta and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Menta platform. Menta's total liability, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid by you, if any, for using the platform.
You agree to indemnify and hold Menta and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Menta platform, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
The Menta app is designed to facilitate secure and reliable transactions within its platform. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. We emphasize that all users are strongly advised to use the in-app payment system for any financial transactions. Engaging in payments outside of the app not only compromises security but also falls outside the scope of Menta's responsibility and support. We encourage users to exercise caution and adhere to the recommended payment method within the app to ensure a seamless and protected experience. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in Menta's Cancellations and Refunds policy.
Mentees may cancel scheduled mentoring sessions subject to the mentor's cancellation policy. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to Menta's Cancellations and Refunds policy. Mentor cancellation policies may vary, and mentees are responsible for reviewing and adhering to the specific cancellation terms set by each mentor.
Menta may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time and for any reason, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply to any obligations or liabilities that have accrued prior to the termination.
Menta reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for any updates. Your continued use of the platform after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the arbitration body chosen by Menta. The arbitration shall take place in the jurisdiction where Menta operates. You hereby waive any right to bring or participate in a class action lawsuit against Menta.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Menta operates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Menta regarding the use of the platform and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings, whether oral or written.
